Spoiler-tastic Review

This Graphic Novel was a heap of fun and a fast read. Starring Douglas Adams’ titular hero Dirk Gently, this novel is a zany romp. This is my first graphic novel, so I can’t give a very good review in comparison to other graphic novels.

This novel featured memorable characters, from the murder happy upper crust couple to the lesbian couple who run Dirk’s new favorite coffee house. None of the characters committed the sin of being boring. Even the bad guys were fun. I loved the murder happy couple, and the vampire pharaoh was despicably fun as well.

The plot was a bit… insane. I think that’s what the authors were going for, though. It was fun so I’ll give them a pass.

Net total? Do you like urban fantasy books but want to read a comedy? This is the book for you!
