Spoiler-ific review

Here’s a short review for a short story.

Mysteries are afoot upon the Arkestra spaceship. The ship’s AI is showing signs of being sapient. The second-in-command is defying the captain of the ship’s orders and staging a command performance of jazz below deck. A crewman dies mysteriously when an unexpected meteor strikes.

I loved this. It was only a short story, so it was a quick read. I would have liked if the author talked more about the performance-art aspects required to recharge the ship’s jazz-powered batteries.

Stay Sunny!
