Kelsier’s Adventures in the Afterlife
Spoiler-ific review
I’m listening to this as a part of the Arcanum Unbounded collection, but I think it’s interesting enough to give it a review of it’s own. This novella starts during the events of the first Mistborn book, when Kelsier is killed. He goes to the afterlife, where he is greeted by the god Preservation. Kelsier, wanting to save the world, decides to give the God of Preservation the nickname of ‘Fuzz’ and conspire with him to save the world from the Lord Ruler and from the god Ruin.
After a brief imprisonment (taking place during Mistborn books 1 and 2), Kelsier escapes into the wider world as a ghost. He goes on an adventure, seeking to save the world of the living (and his protege Vin) from the spiritual forces only a ghost can combat.
Highly recommended, but only after you finish reading the original trilogy.
