A Short review for a short story.
This is a story set in the ‘Fitz and the Fool’ setting, staring a young girl named Taura. Taura’s village has been raided by the nefarious Red Ship Raiders, and her father is taken prisoner and later returned brain damaged and dangerous. This story is about Taura coming to terms with her permanently destroyed family, and the fact that her father will no longer be able to protect her.
