So I’ve never played any of the Mass Effect games, but I saw this at the library and I decided to give it a whirl.
I’m gonna be blunt: as someone who knows very little about this setting, this novel’s plot was impenetrable. Now I’ve watched a couple YouTube vids about the games in the past so I recognized some of the characters featured herein. This graphic novel was about some of the side characters, antagonists and companion characters from Mass Effect.
So take that for what you will. The art is nice and the dialog is functional.
