Recommended Urban SciFi with a Dog Protagonist

Here’s the TL;DR for my review (SPOILERS!):

  • Dog protagonist! Cat side character!

  • Slow start.

Here’s a short review for a short story.

Black Betty is a recently uplifted dog, meaning she has been intellectually advanced by her human owners. This is her adventures, learning how to be sapient and a part of the family. I liked it, but didn’t love it.
