A beginner’s guide to World War 1

Spoiler-tastic review

This was a good beginner’s guide to the war. It has massive gaps in what it talks about, namely everything outside of the Western Front. It barely mentions the Ottomans or the Pacific Theater. If you’re just getting into the War as a topic of study, start here. If not, go elsewhere.

One hundred pages long, this was a fast read. I’d say a middle school-high school student could use this as a source for a project. A college student could use this as well, but not as a main source. It’s too short and what it doesn’t cover is too vast.
