Discworld is my favorite fantasy universe. It’s funny, it’s joyful, and it’s utterly human. I was in the mood to re-read this book today, so I did. It cheered me up a bit.
The art by Paul Kidby is equal parts detailed and cartoonish, colorful and expressive. I love it because it so perfectly encapsulates the mood of the Discworld setting. It’s hard to give a review for this because it’s an art book, so I’ll just say please check it out. Discworld, and ‘The Art of Discworld,’ is fantastic.
