The conclusion of Pirate Jace’s Adventures in Dinosaur Land

Spoiler-ific review

This was good. The followup to the Ixalan storyline, this anthology of serialized short fiction was a quick read.

Characterization: Pirate Jace was unexpected, as was the romance storyline between him and Vraska the Pirate Captain Gorgon. Huatli’s character development was nearly as good- but I think her storyline could have been concluded better.

Plot: This anthology’s plot was the conclusion of the Ixalan storyline writ large. It was good.

Pacing: All of the individual stories were as good as one another, meaning there were no notable dips in quality from story to story.

Net total, I had a good time reading these stories and look forward to reading more in the future.

Stay Sunny!
