NaNoWriMo is short for National Novel Writing Month. My goal in November is to write a story which is between 50,000 and 70,000 words. 70,000 divided by thirty is 2,333, so I need to write 2,333 words a day to accomplish my goal.
In the buildup to this year’s NaNo I wrote an outline for my story… or rather a potential outlines. As I write I’m going to have to figure out how to write one story based on a fairly vague outline. Truth be told I’ve never successfully written a book based on an outline; I’m more of a seat-of-the-pants author myself. I think I can make this works, but who knows.
On Day 1 I wrote 1791 words.
