Here’s a short review for a short story.
The third Sherlock Holmes story ever written, this is an excellent story. Featuring the one and only Irene Adler, (a woman who is Sherlock’s love interest in many modern-day reinterpretations of the character). Reading this I am surprised with how ‘ordinary’ she is, when compared to her larger-than-life reinterpretations from all sorts of different movies and TV shows.
